{Spotlight Project} Deepti Creates a Winter Scene with the Joyful Set

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to my fifth spotlight post. Today, I'm sharing a card where I have created a fun winter scene. I have used the October stamp club set, Joyful. The stamps in the set are perfect for creating fun Christmas scenes on the cards.

So, here's a look into the finished project. Here I have used some die cuts along with the sleigh as the focus of the card... Also, I experimented by using a patterned paper for the sky. It gives a fun, cool look :)

STEP 1
Stamp the sleigh on white and kraft card stock, fussy cut the pieces, and paper-piece the kraft body of the sliegh over white. Also color the rest of the sleigh.

STEP 2
Cut the patterned paper to A2 card size and apply embossing paste through the snow stencil. Once dried, adhere this panel on the card base.

STEP 3
Die-cut the landscape and clouds. You can also hand-draw and cut these and adhere it to the card base. Also, stamp the sentiment on the snow mountain. I felt something was missing in the whole look, so I decided to add the birch trees. To make the trees, cut out strips from kraft card stock and snip small "A" shaped cuts along the edges.

Here's the finished look once again :) This was a quick and fun card to create. I photographed the card in the sunlight.

This finishes my fifth spotlight post :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy crafting!
